Sara and I wanted to do an Onsen experience in Japan, while we were here. Onsen, a hot spring bath, is a popular activity people usually do here. Since I had tattoos all over me, I was definitely not allowed in the public Onsens. We had to get a private bath place in Arima city, which I didn’t mind at all, and it was definitely a pleasant experience. After venturing around Osaka, we got onto a bus, took an hour ride to Arima, and started venturing around here since our onsen appointment was at night.
We made reservarions at the hotel called Hyoe Koyokaku, where they had private onsens called Onsen Ryokan. There was one condition though, we couldnt just use the private onsen, but we had to either eat at their buffet or stay a night there. We decided to eat at the buffet, and then went into the onsen. The private Onsen is amazing. We were lead to a room, where we had complete privacy to change into our yukatas, and then slide into our mud bath.
